  1. Epilepsy or falling sickness is cured by getting three ribs of a dog's hair and burning it in the fire and then putting the ashes into a cup of water and giving it to the person to drink.
    The cure of a whitlow on the finger is to get a black cat without a white rib of hair in him and rub his tail to the effected spot and any person may do it and in a few days the cure is made.
