  1. Bread.
    There are different kinds of bread, Boxty, Potatoe-cake, Soda-cake, Oat Meal bread, and Oatcakes.
    Oat cake is made with hot water and Meal you wet the Meal with the water and keep on kneeding it till you get it into a round ball. Then you role it out flat and try and have it thin there is an iron stand used for baking it you put the stand before a bright fire and put the cake on.
    Material used for making Boxty are grated potatoe flour and salt.
