  1. "Old Graveyards."
    One very old graveyard I know is St. John's Sligo. It is situated beside St. John's church in John Street and the church was erected by Sir Roger James about the twelfth century.
    This graveyard is not in use at present but all my ancestors are interred there.
    It is a circular shape. There are several trees growing in it, principally, ash, sycamore and yews.
    There are very little crosses in it but there are several old tombs.
    In the year 1812 they were repairing the church and they took Sir Roger Jame's tomb and left it outside of the church and through time it got broken. About twenty
