    about twenty five steps there is an opening and you can wak out a long passage, and when you go up more steps there is another opening and you can go out and walk round the tower. When your reach the top there is a cement slap on which you can stand on and get a great view of the surrounding district.
    On each side of this there is a Saracen's head and lions. This is the Coopers coat of arms. There are also some Latin words written on it and the date 1832.
    Markee Castle is on of the first castles to built of stone and mortar.
