    1."The root of a Dandelion", steeped in water over night and boiled is a cure for consumption.
    2."Buglas" a weed which grows in the garden and boiled in water is a cure for lumps and boils on your neck.
    3."Fat bacon," when rubbed is a cure for corns.
    4."Docken leaf," when applied to a nettle burn will cure it.
    5."Blue," which is used by the housewife is a cure for a sting of a bee.
    6."Slanlus," ground up when applied to a bleeding cut will cure it.
    7."The inside of a cabbage leaf", will take the badness out of a cut, and the outside will heal it.
    8."Gooseberry thorns," when pointed towards a sty on your eye nine times on nine
