    Swallows flying low over the fields is a sign that rain is near.
    When worms are to be seen over the ground rain is supposd to be very near.
    Seagulls fly inland when rain or stormy weather is appraching.
    When stormy weather is coming crows are to be observed flying in great numbers high in the air and making great noise.
    When a lot of midges are to be seen flying particuliary in the evening rain is supposed to be near.
    When wild geese fly in flocks from the sea towards Benbulben mountain stormy and rainy weather may be expected.
