- One day a man and his wife was living in a little house in a lonely wood. There was an old forth near his house and one day as he was gathering sticks for his fire he saw a litle red man sitting at the foot of a tree beside the fort. He stole up beside the litle man and caught him but the arm. "What do you want" said the little red man? "If you let me go I will give you any wish you want."
