    In the same townland is CALDRA - supposed to be an unconsecrated graveyard made use of during '98 Rebellion. Beside it lies the COUILÍN - an enclosed acre of ground.

    Then of later date in same town-land is MARGARET GAFFNEY'S tumble down hut and holy well. She the "maid of New Orleans" who did so much good there for the waifs etc. that they proclaim her qualities were saintly, our recent manager Father Smith was asked to collect all informations to be known about her which he did some years ago.

    Tubher Patrick - Directly South of us about three miles. Holy well there and yet people go there and do stations.

    Another field here is called "Mailín a Bree óg" written just as it is said.
