  1. Travelling folk call to the houses in this part of the country and they have been doing so for many years. They are very poor and they sell small articles. They are not generally welcome but some people buy from them. They get a penny when they call. They travel on a cart and sleep in little huts. They go in families.
    The McDonagh's MacCawley's The Heanies and the Reilly's are some of the travellers who visit this part of the country. They come for fair day.
