  2. There is a holy well beside Mohill in a field belonging to Jerry Johnston. There is a cure in the well for warts. The person who had the warts went to the well and said some prayers there. Then they would rub the warts with some of the water. This well is situated in the stump of a tree and it is four feet from the ground. It has been noticed that this well never runs dry. There is another well called St. Patrick's Well beside Arigna. There is a cure in this well for sores. The person with the sores would go to the well and say prayers there for his intention.
