with the little turned-up shoes but Mc Gourty told afterwards that it put him to his best to knock the little man.
When the leioreachan saw he was beaten he implored of Mc Gourty not to kill him and that he would tell him in a great secret where he had the gold hidden.
They became great friends and after a long chat the leipreachan pointed to a flat stone under a little rock and there Mc Gourty found the pot of gold.
He told people about it but they would not believe him. The Mc Gourty family got very wealthy soon afterwards and people then knew the story was true.
