Leave it on during the night. The thorn will be on the tongue in the morning.If a cow is not able to chew the cud, she can be compelled to do so. When the goat is chewing her cud catch her by the throat ( when she is about to swallow it.) Remove the cud from her mouth with the handle of a spoon.
