Remember brave McGirl and McGreal who showed their pluck.
When they rushed for Ireland’s freedom to the field at Ballinamuck.
They gave their lives to free this Isle from England’s thirsty throne.
They were sons of Ballinaglera we’re proud to call our own

They were sons of Ballinaglera we’re proud to call our own.
- There are a lot of animals on the farm namely, Cows, Calves, Horses, Donkeys, Goats and Pigs.
The cows have names such as, “Carson”,
“Rourke” and “Maguire”. They get these names from the men from whom they were bought.
When driving them in and out to the field we say “Go on Suckie”.
The cows are put into a house at night in the Winter called a byre. They are tied to stakes by the neck with chains(continues on next page)
