  2. The very first that comes to my mind is Stephen McPadden. He thought nothing of carrying a bag of meal 2 cwt weight 4 miles returning home after doing his days work. He lived far up in the townland of Croagh in Killavogey. He was nicknamed Stephen from Heaven on accont of his being so far up in the mountain. The next is a man called Soldier McConnell. He bought a
