  1. Potatoes are grown in this district About an acre or a half. First the manure is put out then the soil is turned. The potatoes are set in ridges and drills. Some people use a plough and others used spades in setting potatoes. Long ago people used wooden plough but there are not used not and spades are bought. The neighbors do help one an other. The people do their own work
