    There is a pot of gold supposed to be hidden in the lake on top of Benbo. It was hidden by Sir Fredrick Hamilton on his escape from Manorhamilton Castle. There is a witch guarding it.
    Many years ago, there was a man living around here, and he dreamt three nights in succession that the gold was there and in order to procure the gold he was to get an enchanted cup, also an enchanted handkerchief. When he would drain three cups of water out of
