    caught in a trap which was left at the door of a henhouse where he used to go. When the fox got caught he did not try to get away but lay down and pretended he was dead. When the man went out in the morning and saw that he had caught the old fox he was very glad because he thought the fox was dead. After a while one of his neighbours came into the house. The first thing they told him was how they caught the fox and the man brought the other man out to see the fox in the barn where he had thrown him. But he was very much surprised to find the fox gone. He looked out and saw the fox disappearing
