  1. Castles
    There is the ruin of an old Castle in Lowberry, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. It was four story high and was owned by Mr. Lynch who was a Land Lord at that time. There was a lot of Lynches living there and it is said that it was burned by some people who were threatened to be driven from their homes if they did not burn the Castle. There was one story under ground. It is said that there was one room in it haunted which was always kept
