    The following was composed by a man named O'Connor who lived between Co. Roscommon and Co. Galway, about the town o f Dunmore.
    There is a neat little town within eight miles of Tuam
    Where the boys and the girls to in, in full bloom
    On each market day to drink whiskey go leor
    And where would you get a town so neat as Dunmore.
    When you'll stand at the square the court house you'll see
