    There were three shops in Cappa Dunmore, Co Galway long ago. There was a shop at Knights at Pattens and at Heanans. The Knights and the Pattens are gone to America and Jim Heanan is gone to Co Roscommon. The unlucky day of the week for buying is Monday. The old people say that if you give out money on a Monday you will be giving it out all the week.
