  1. 5. Basket-making. Long ago the people used to make baskets. They make them now out of scallops. The rods were got from willow tree and interlaced with dry rushes.
    Dye-making. Long ago the people used to make dye from ivy leaves which they boil.
    Ink-making. People made ink with alder berries which they boiled, mashed, and strained.
