  1. When our parents were children their customs for Easter were to make a scone of oatmeal an oval shape with a hole on the top of it this scone was called a Scrután.
    When this was baked it was tied with a woollen thread around their neck.
    Then they ate this scone with their eggs outside around their fires.
    It is said they who do this would not want anything until that day twelve month again.
    The most of the people who did these customs are dead and this customs is nearly forgotten and no one except very old people remember it.
