  2. Toothache: Put a leaf of tobacco on the tooth
    Cough: Stew linseed and strain off the water, put the water into a saucepan again with some liquorice-stick and barley sugar and stew again until the liquorice and barley sugar is dissolved. Then bottle and take half a glass daily.
    Colds: Before going to bed warm some milk with sugar and ginger and drink as warm as possible.
    Warts: If you get a snail accidently rub it on your wart and then tie the snail with a string to a bush. If the snail dies the wart will die.
    Headache: Soak a bandage in vinegar and tie on the forehead.
