    place. It would then be in a lump of nice white soap but would not be near as good as soap at present but the people did not use as much juring those times.
    The Soapers as they were called did not make their living by making soap alone. One of them grew his own potatoes and worked at candle making. The others worked at farming in day and soaping at night. The Soapers names were George McGee of Gortyarrigan Buncrana. Michael Hutton of Sharagore Buncrana, and Joseph McDaid of Hillside Buncrana.
