  1. Once upon a time there lived a man in Ballinlough.
    It was Hallowe'en night, and this man was down in the field. He heard somebody calling him home for his dinner. On looking round he saw all the fairies in a circle around him. They made a great dinner in the field for him. After the dinner was over, he went home, and the fairies disappeared.
