  1. Once a woman, went out to pull holly at Christmas. On taking it in, she put it under the churn. After a while a little woman came in, and asked for a drink, she gave her the drink. That passed by and she came in again. The woman refused the milk, and hunted her out with a stick, and she turned into a magic hare.
The priest was summoned. He came and shook some salt in the milk. When he left, the woman heard beautiful singing in the holly tree, the like she had never heard before.
