  1. Long, long ago there lived fairies in Owenbuoy.
    A house was situated nearby. One day a fairy woman came into the house. She asked for some indian meal. The house-woman refused. The fairy woman went up and lifted the child out of the cradle and away with it.
    One other day she came back again and asked for a bowl of flour. The house-woman didn't refuse this time. The fairies left the child back in the cradle again.
