  1. About fifty years ago there lived a man whose name was Will O' the Wisp. This man sold himself to the devil for three years.
    After three years the devil came for him. Will O' the Wisp who was a blacksmith told him to sit down on a chair until he would cut off his head with a sledge. Will of the Wisp said to the devil, "If I let you up will you let me stay on the world for three more years." "I will" said the devil.
    Then one day as Will O' the Wisp and the devil were out walking they came to a public house.
