  1. The name of a small brae above our house is Mullabhreac. A river running through it is called the "The Yellow River." In olden times trout was very plentiful in it.
    A short distance below there is another place called Croc Na Fannaige. Fairies made in their dwelling place. It is made of rock and heather. In the rock are large cavities. You can scarcely see them, because they are covered with trees.
    A field below the house is called "John's Cut." In olden times it was in the possession of a man called John.
    "Srath Mór" is a big level field. That's how it got it's
