Ar an leathanach seo
- We set about five acres of potatoes every years or sometimes we set four acres and a half on our farm at home.
We set six kinds of potatoes this year, they are ninety fold, Epicures, Dates, British Queens, Arran Banners, and Kerrs pinks. The Arran Banners and Dates grow best on the land.
When we begin to prepare the land for the potatoes we plough some field where there had been corn in the year before.
When we have it ploughed we have to harrow it. When we have it harrowed we plough it across and then we harrow it again and then we cultivate it with a cultivator. Then we open the drills with a drill plough but not the same as the ordinary plough.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
