   The most of the fields in our farm have names, and they are as follows. The Hall field, the Big field, the Moor, Barnets field, Cassidy's field, and the Stack yard. The Hall field is so called because it is in front of the hall door. The Big field is so called because it is very big. The Moor field is so called because there is a lot of heathd growing on it. Barnet's field is so called because long ago people named Barney lived there. Cassidy's field is so called because long ago people named Cassidy lived there. The Blackberry knowe is so called because there is a hill beside it.
   There is a thorn bush down below Watson's and haws grow on it. It is said that anyone who eats these haws shall be caught by the fairies. There is also tree up in Cassidy's field and small, green, hard, apples grow on it. If anyone
