    (1) When some of the soot falls down the chimney it is a sign there is going to be rain.
    (2) When the soot gets sticky and has a glossy surface it is a sign of rain.
    Rainbow.
    (1) When there is a rainbow in the sky in the morning it is a sign of rain.
    (2) When the sky gets a dark blue colour it is a sign of rain.
    Insects.
    (1) When the flies are flying about it is a sign of rain.
    (2) When the crickets sing loudly it is another sign of rain.
