   In the days when Maolmurrough lived at Doe Castle he had many horses. He had a stable-boy named McBride from Ballymore. One night he went to feed the horses, he had only one light which went out when he entered the stable. Then, all of a sudden, he saw a woman come in with a lamb in her hand. She said "Feed the horses quick, for it will be your last time." Then she disappeared. McBride became so terrified that he lay at the horses' head all night. He went home and died a week later.
