All those men above mentioned were remarkable mowers noted for endurance tenacity of purpose. Some of them used to visit the county Limerick once a year and be back in the Co. Waterford to cut the harvest. Each man used buy a gallon of new milk every day and used to mix water through it and drink in order to replace the perspiration.
