  1. At school we play a fair number of games. Hurling football and handball are our chief games, but we play several others besides, such as colours. In this game a big number of players is needed to have any sport. The chief characters in it are a devil and an angel. The rest are lined along in a straight rows, and the angel gives them each a secret colour. Then the devil comes and calls out any colour he thinks of and the boy or girl that has the first colour called must run on a marked out course and if the devil catches him he will put him in his corner. If he gets into the angels corner he is safe and so on. A few years past we used to play skittles but it is seldom we play them now. We play another game
