    "Pairc a Thighe Mhóir" got its name because there was a big house there one time.

    There was a hedge school in one field and on that account it got the name of "Pairc na Scoile".

    There was a village in the field which is called "Seana Sráid" and there was a Lios in "Pairch a Leasa".
