    There was a hedge-school in the house of, Mr. William Fennessy, Reannacoolagh West.
    Mr. Heffernan, Tallow, taught in this school. He taught through Irish. There was a blackboard in the school. He taught in the house. The teacher remained for one year and a half in Ballysaggart.
