    land in Ballycorroon. It is in that fort that the giant Corroon is buried. Lights are to be seen on that fort at night.
    There is another fairy fort in Ballycorroon. It belongs to Josie Loftus, Ballycorroon, Crossmolina. One night there were two boys hunting rabbits with dogs and the dogs followed a rabbit into the fort and one of the dogs went to catch the rabbit and he went yelping like as if some one hit him with a stick.
    There is a fairy fort in Pat Kean's land in the townland of Ballyscanlon, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. The fort is called Rathtooreen. There is music heard on that fort at night, and talking of people is heard in it also. People believe that fairies live in that fort.
