    and run away. The flashlamp is used now since it came into fashion. The usual artical used for catching the fish is a gaff. But sometimes a net or a "leister" is used.
    The gaff is like a large fishing hook, but it is thick iron, and about the size of the top of a cup. The "leister" is a fork, with three flat prongs, and three teeth on the side of the prongs. The net they use is the common pike net.
    The fish they usually catch are the salmon and trout.
