    so after a while they came to a river, the dog changed its shape into a big black lump and rolled into the river.
    So when the boys passed the river nothing else followed them. One of the boys had to go a little distance longer than the other. Then the boys parted, and at last the other boy reached his house. When he went inside the door and bolted and locked it he heard three kicks at the door. So ever since there is said to be a ghost in that lime-kiln
