    only saw a couple of bits of it growing one day and then to go and look at it in three days' time, the place would be covered with it and it smothers the stalks.
    Red weed is a weed with a very long stem and there come red seeds on it in Autumn. It grows very high, it sometimes grows as high as three feet.
    It is good for a cow that would have a cough. People first boil it and then they put salt on it and give juice and all to the cow and it cures her of the cough.
    Chick-weed is a small weed with a lot of small leaves growing on each stem. It is not a very bad weed, it does not do much harm to the crops.
