    There was also a cure for thrush in a white gander.
    The food that a ferret leaves behind him is supposed to cure the whooping cough. The holy well Killgeever is supposed to cure different ailments such as sciatica and sickness.
    The herb known as the "rosendle" was used for poultices long ago.
