    The Giant's Rock
    At the foot of Mullagh there is a rock called "the giants rock" because a giant is supposed to have flung it there from Keash which is about six miles away.
    Páirc an Aonaigh
    About a quarter of a mile from this school on the lands of James Flynn of Lugmore, is a field called Páirc an Aonaigh which got it's name from a fair which is supposed to be held there by the fairies.
    When some people were passing by this field late at night, they heard a great noise of men making bargains and heard the lowing of cattle
