    "Cealltrach" is a field near my house. It got its name from the number of stones which are scattered through it.
    Poll-an-lich":-
    On the land of Patrick Gildea of Quarryfield is a round bottomless hole called Poll-an-lich. It got its name from the following incident.
    A man was once ploughing with one horse in that field, and as the day wore on, his horse began to tire, when all of a sudden he saw a white horse emerging from the hole and walking over to the plough.
    He yoked the white horse into the plough and ploughed on
