    Tarraingtear luachair agus deantar beart de Oichdhe Fhéile Bríghde téigheann duine go dtí an doras druidthe agus an beart seo ina láimh aige. Buaileann sé ar an doras agus deireann – “Téighid ar bhur nglúnaibh agus fosclaidhe bhur súile agus leig isteach Brighid”.
    Ma chaitear brat Bríghde ar bhuin nach nglanann tar éis laoi a bheith aice deirtear go nglanfaidh sí go tapaidh. Cuirtear stiall dén bhrat Bríghde ar ruball bó roimh breith dí. Deantar creasa dén tuighe buitreach agus cuirtear in áirde sa tígh iad.
