There was an ould house in Propogue (Araglin)...

    (continued from previous page)
was in at Strongman's a couple of evenings after. He was young this time, he was not married.
He was talking to Mrs. Strongman in the yard when he saw this man passing through the yard and facing up to his own house. He walked out past him and never spoke. He knew he was in Cork at the time, and he got a terrible fright. He ran down home to me mother. "Oh" says he, "I'm a dead man". "Yerra what is wrong with. You're looking like a dead man anyway, what happened ye?" says me mother
"I saw Ned Ailes" says he
Next day sure enough, Ned Ailes was coming down from Cork to be buried.
