  2. About ten years ago there lived a girl named Ethel Sharpe, Drumgoon, Cootehill. One evening she went out of the house to the river Annalee. She was walking along the bank of the river and she fell in and was drowned. Her parents looked for her everywhere but could not find her. One day after seven weeks searching Mr Bernard Kettyle was returning from cutting hay along the bank of the river and he saw her lying among some bushes. He ran and told her parents, and the neighbours came and brought her home.
