- Herbs are very plentiful in this district. The names of some of the herbs are the nettle, ragwort, thistle, dock, slandles are plentiful. If one had the measles get a nettle and boil the nettle and when it would be boiled take the water of the nettle and make tea of it and drink it. When thistles or nettles grow in fields the people try to get rid of them. The ragwort grows on dry land. Most of the herbs grow in the summer. Some people give nettles to young turkeys.
