- There is a lios in Robert McGrath's field in Curraheenavoher. It is surrounded by a stone ditch. There is a white thorn tree growing in the centre of the lios, and there is a heap of stones outside the lios.
A story is told that a man was building a house and he took a load of stones from outside the lios. When he had the house built a man came to him that night and told him to give back the stones at once.
The man refused to do so, and the little man put his fingers on the man's eyes and immediately he got blind. The man then said he would give back the stones, if the little man gave back his sight, he refused to do so.
Another story is told about a man who took a load of the stones to build a house, when he had the house built it fell to the ground.
