    lives for Ireland in '98 give their inspiring names to two other important streets.
    This change in Irish place names is a step forward in the gaelicisation of the nation as it helps to obliterate the foreign elements which have everywhere destroyed the significance of Irish place names and which aimed at the destruction of Irish culture.
    Very Revd Paul Murphy P.P. changed the names of the streets in Edenderry.
